King proudly sponsors The MusicianShip, a non-profit youth development organization dedicated to enriching the lives of students, their families, and the communities in which they live. Our firm recognizes and supports the mission of The MusicianShip, which is to change lives by facilitating music lessons, experiences, and opportunities to benefit those who need it the most.

The MusicianShip offers a wide range of music education programs, including after school, summer, master class, and ensemble programs, such as the Washington Youth Choir. With a singular purpose of uplifting anyone in need, The MusicianShip stewards music programs and projects from their homebase in Washington D.C. that go on to reach students ages 5 to 24 from around the world.

On June 9^th, Duane King was honored to be featured during The Musicianship’s 2022 End of Year Showcase, which spotlighted solos and celebrated performances by students from 2^nd grade to 12^th grade from The MusicianShip’s music programs all over the District.

The MusicianShip’s current projects include online learning offerings, the DC Funk Parade, and the Washington Area Music Awards, also known as “The Wammies”.
